Authorities shut down pharmacy at wellness center in Tarlac

Authorities raided the Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch Natural Medical Center in Victoria, Tarlac on Friday and closed its pharmacy for allegedly selling food supplements without authorization, according to a report on Saksi on Friday.

The said food supplements were then confiscated by authorities.

Agustin-Bunch was not around when the raid was conducted.

In a text message sent to GMA News, Agustin-Bunch said the raid conducted by the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines was illegal.

Due process was not observed, she added.

The wellness center is known for its food supplements which reportedly help treat cancer, arthritis, and other diseases.

Aside from a P1-million fine, charges will be filed against Agustin-Bunch. —KG, GMA News
