14 killed in drug-related incidents in Cebu — cops

At least 14 people were killed in separate drug-related incidents in Cebu province early Thursday morning, according to a Super Radyo dzBB report.

In his report, RGMA Cebu's Gabriel Bonjoc quoted the local police as saying nine of the drug suspects were killed during the police's "one-time, big-time" anti-drug operation in Cebu City and Talisay City.

In the Cebu City incident, one each was killed at Barangays Ermita, Tejero, and Pasil. In Talisay City, five were killed at Barangay Tangke and one at Barangay Dumlog.

The remaining five people, meanwhile, were killed in Malubog, Cebu City, although it was not immediately clear if they were killed during a police operation.

The report also said authorities managed to serve 82 of the 106 search warrants. — MDM, GMA News
