DOTr offers free rides in Cebu City amid holiday rush

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Wednesday it will offer free rides to commuters in Cebu City this holiday season.

In an advisory, DOTr has given a list of designated pick-up and drop-off points for its free transport service.

The passengers may avail of free rides every 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. from December 20 to 24, 2018.   

Free of charge trips on the southern part of the city will start from BSP and will ferry passengers to Starmall Talisay.

The first pick-up point for passengers in the northern areas, on the other hand, is Plaza Independencia. The final drop-off is at SM City Consolacion. —Dona Magsino/ LDF, GMA News
