As part of preparations for the 2019 midterm elections on Monday, May 13, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has shipped several tanks in Jolo town, Sulu.

GMA News' Raffy Tima reported early Saturday morning that the AFP is beefing up its security forces in the region with the newly acquired tanks.
Tima posted a one-minute long video courtesy of Joint Task Force Sulu, that showed a vessel with its cargo that included military hardware approaching the port. — BAP, GMA News
