2-year-old found dead in Camarines Sur irrigation canal

A 2-year-old boy was found dead in an irrigation canal in Baao, Camarines Sur, according to a Saturday report on 24 Oras Weekend.

The mother of victim Rico Gabriel Visitacion speculated that her son slipped and fell into the pigpen beside the canal.

According to the mother, if there was no gate blocking the irrigation canal, the Visitacion body would have drifted further away.

Meanwhile, 2 boys were found dead in a creak at San Fernando City, Pampanga.

According to the barangay officials, only the feet of the 8-year-old and 10-year-old children were visible as the rest of their bodies were underwater.

Residents in the area said they often forbade the children from bathing in the creek, but the boys did not listen.
