2-year-old girl allegedly raped by drunk Uncle in Pangasinan

A two-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her Uncle, who was a father figure, in Lingayen town in Pangasinan, according to the report of Jamie Santos on GMA News' Saksi on Wednesday.

"Syempre bilang babae, iningatan ko po 'yung mga anak ko tapos doon sa pinakamaliit kong anak, doon pa mangyayari."the child's mother said.

In the report from GMA Regional TV Balitang Amianan, the mother related that her brother-in-law was drun at the time he went home. But he left the house again, this time with her youngest child, supposedly to buy food.

So the mother approved that the girl accompany her Uncle.

"Tiwalang-tiwala kasi itinuring po niyang tatay. 'Yun pala, hindi mo alam, sila rin ang sisira sa kanya," she added.

A few minutes after their return, the child then with a sibling went to the rest room to urinate. This is the time that they saw the child's underwear had a blood stain.

The child was brought to a hospital for a check up and it was found that the child had indeed been raped.

The Uncle said he denied having knowledge of the incident and was under the influence of alcohol.

"Humingi po ako ng tawad sa kuya ko saka kay Ate. Sana patawarin po nila ako," he said.

He is facing appropriate charges as the police declined to issue a statement on the incident while the investigation is ongoing. — BAP, GMA News
