No one hurt in explosion near church in Datu Piang, Maguindanao

An explosion occurred on Friday evening near a church in the town of Datu Piang in Maguindanao, according to a report on GMA News' Saksi.

The suspect, it was reported, was onboard a motorcycle when he lobbed an explosive near the Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish.

After a few seconds, the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded.

Shrapnel from the device hit the tires of a parked vehicle nearby.

No one was hurt in the incident.
