Barangay chair facing probe for placing youths in a dog cage amid COVID-19 curfew


A barangay chairman in Sta. Cruz, Laguna has apologized after he placed in a dog cage several youths, who violated the curfew imposed in connection with efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.

According to John Consulta's report on "24 Oras", the incident is now the subject of an investigation by the Department of Interior and Local Government and the Philippine National Police. -NB, GMA News
