Bocaue buys 13,200 kilos of vegetables from Mt. Province farmers

The municipal government of Bocaue, Bulacan has bought 13,200 kilos of assorted vegetables from farmers of Bauko in Mountain Province after reports of wasted vegetables made rounds last week.

According to Nico Waje's Thursday report on Stand for Truth, the vegetables will be given to around 16,000 senior citizens of Bocaue as part of relief operations.

Meanwhile the farmers have expressed their gratitude.

Maraming-maraming salamat po," Avelina Bautista said. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
