‘NAKAKAPIKON’

Gov. Remulla wants military to enforce ECQ in Cavite as residents continue to violate ECQ rules

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla on Monday bared that he would talk to Interior Secretary Eduardo Año as he wants members of the military to enforce the enhanced community quarantine in the province.

In a Facebook post, Remulla said he also talked to the provincial director of Cavite to request assistance from the Armed Forces of the Philippines as there were still residents who continue to violate the ECQ guidelines.

According to Remulla, 10% of the residents still violate the rules and regulations of the mandatory quarantine.

Nakakapikon!" Remulla said.

Earlier, President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the police and the military to get ready to enforce curfew and social distancing among the public this period as a lot of Filipinos continue to disobey the guidelines of the government.

The AFP has said it is already preparing its troops for a stricter enforcement of quarantine. — RSJ, GMA News
