Liliw, Laguna now COVID-19-free after its 6 confirmed cases all recovered

The municipality of Liliw in Laguna announced it is now free of COVID-19 after its six confirmed cases have all recovered.

One of them is a frontliner, according to a report on 24 Oras News Alert on Sunday.

Liliw Mayor Ericson Sulibit jumped for joy after receiving the report.

He said however that his townmates should not lower their guard, but instead continue wearing face masks, practicing social distancing, and staying home.

Liliw's next door neighbor Nagcarlan is also COVID-19-free. —KG, GMA News
