17-day-old baby in Bataan tests positive for COVID-19

A 17-day-old baby is among the six new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Bataan, its provincial health office said.

According to a report on 24 Oras News Alert on Tuesday, the infant is from Mariveles.

Meanwhile, three of the six cases are health workers at Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center.

So far, Bataan has reported a total of 96 cases of COVID-19, including 22 recoveries and four deaths.

Nationwide, infections reached 9,684 with 637  fatalities and 1,408 recoveries.—AOL, GMA News
