2 sitios in Talisay, Cebu under lockdown due to COVID-19

Two sitios in Talisay, Cebu were placed under lockdown due to COVID-19 cases, according to an Unang Balita report on Wednesday.

Ten residents of Sitio Tunga and Sitio Magay in Barangay Tangke were found positive for COVID-19 based on swab tests.

The patients have been transferred to a health facility while those who had contact with them have been isolated to prevent further transmission of the virus.

In Cebu City, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 have reached 1,992 after 96 more were added to the list. Of the total number 230 have recovered while 23 had died. --KBK, GMA News
