Cavite to adopt modified quarantine pass starting June 7 –Remulla

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla on Thursday announced that a modified quarantine pass system would be implemented in the province beginning June 7.

In a Facebook post, Remulla noted that in the modified system, a quarantine pass will be "transferable" within the household.

"Ibig sabihin, kapag qualified and of age ang kasama sa bahay ay puwede na ipagamit sa kasama sa bahay. Magdala na lang ng ID na patunay na magkasama sa isang bahay," Remulla said.

Remulla told Cavite residents that travel restriction within the province is now eased as a travel pass is no longer needed. If one needs to go to Metro Manila for work purposes, he or she must always possess his or her employment ID.

"Ang pag-biyahe sa ibang lalawigan ay kailangan pa rin ng travel pass. Kung trabaho naman ay magpakita lamang ng employment ID," Remulla said.

"Ang inter-province returning resident ay tatanggapin naman sa Cavite, pakita lang ng valid ID of Cavite residence. Ang age limit (18-20 years old) sa travel travel pass ay lifted na pag MGCQ na tayo," he added.

Remulla said curfew is still imposed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

He added that there is still no change as regards mall policies.

The governor also reminded residents to continue practicing health and safety protocols such as wearing face masks and staying at their homes if travel is not essential. —Anna Felicia Bajo/LBG, GMA News
