128 stranded individuals head home via Balik Probinsiya Program

A total of 128 Lanao del Sur residents who were stranded in Manila due to the COVID-19 lockdown were finally on their way home.

According to a Sunday “24 Oras News Alert,” the stranded individuals arrived in Misamis Oriental through the government’s Balik Probinsiya, Bagong Pag-asa Program.

Among the formerly stranded individuals were locals who lost their jobs in Manila and abroad amid the pandemic.

Also included in the group were students studying in Saudi Arabia.

The stranded individuals were escorted to a quarantine facility in Marawi to undergo rapid testing.
