Contact tracing continues in Lucban, Quezon

The local government of Lucban, Quezon continued to track down potential positive COVID-19 cases in the area after a resident contracted the illness.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert,” a 22-year-old woman who came from Manila tested positive in the area.

The barangay where the patient lives is now under lockdown, including nearby areas.

Meanwhile, issuance of travel and gate passes and certificate of acceptance have been temporarily halted to prevent the further spread of the virus.

The local government added the liquor ban and curfew will also be imposed in the whole town.

Mayor Olivier Dator said a total of 63 individuals have already undergone rapid testing in the area. All turned out negative for COVID-19. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/RSJ, GMA News
