Cainta, Taytay in Rizal implement no face mask, no face shield, no entry policy


The municipalities of Cainta and Taytay in Rizal province are now implementing no face mask and face shield, no entry policy in their respective public and private markets, malls, groceries, and other public places.

In his report on Dobol B sa News TV, Mark Makalalad said Cainta Public Market staff check marketgoers if they are wearing face shield and face mask.

Those who are not wearing face mask and face shield were forced to buy one in stores outside the market if they want to enter the premises.

 

Under Cainta Ordinance No. 2020-025, all residents are required to wear face mask and face shield at all times in public and private establishments, including but not limited to supermarkets, markets, hospitals, drugstores, remittance centers, financial institutions, courier service centers, and government offices.

Violators will be required to attend awareness campaigns or seminars on COVID-19 for at least three hours and pay a maximum fine of P1,000.

 

Cainta Mayor Johnielle Keith Nieto issued Executive Order No. 10 Series of 2020 in support of the ordinance.

Taytay local government also passed Ordinance No. 44 Series of 2020 mandating the wearing of face shield and face mask.

The Department of Transportation on Wednesday announced the mandatory use of  face shields, aside from wearing face masks, for all passengers in any mode of public transportation effective August 15, 2020.—AOL, GMA News
