SJDM residents from other areas may return home subject to quarantine

Residents of San Jose Del Monte (SJDM), Bulacan who work in other areas but wish to return to the city may do so subject to a 14-day home quarantine, local authorities said Monday.

According to Emil Sumangil’s report on “24 Oras,” the local government is strictly enforcing the modified enhanced community quarantine from Monday, August 10, until August 18.

Only medical workers, frontline workers delivering essential goods, and patients who need treatment will be allowed to pass through the nine quarantine control points across the city.

“Once na gusto niyo pong i-subject ang sarili ninyo sa home quarantine para po ma-monitor namin kayo, puwede pong pumasok,” said SJDM police chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Gil Domingo, referring to residents.

Those who will undergo home quarantine will be monitored by personnel of the City Health Office.

“Habang umiiral po itong strict implementation ng home quarantine, mino-monitor na po namin lahat ng suspected. Ia-isolate po namin ang lahat ng COVID-positive sa isang quarantine facility,” Domingo said. — Julia Mari Ornedo/DVM, GMA News
