Wild monkeys sighted in Oslob, Cebu

There is a new attraction in Cebu, particularly the town of Oslob, which is known as the tourist destination for those who wish to see whale sharks up close.

Wild monkeys can be seen along the side of the road in Barangay Hagdan in Oslob, which is located south of Cebu.

In these photos taken by Minerva Gerodias, shows several monkeys lined up on the railing of a bridge.

GMA Regional TV's Balitang Bisdak reported that the monkeys go out of their habitat during feeding time, which is about 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

They are regularly given food by a resident living near the bridge. Visitors are discouraged to touch the monkeys.

There used to be a signage in the area that says monkeys can be viewed at the site. This was stopped, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic. -- BAP, GMA News
