DPWH office in Zambo City on three-day lockdown

The office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Zamboanga City was put on a three-day lockdown after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Bam Alegre's report on Unang Balita on Thursday, the employee underwent swab test following a motorcycle accident.

Through contact tracing, it was learned that the employee and his family  had contacts with other DPWH employees, prompting authorities to implement the lockdown.

During the lockdown, disinfection procedure will be conducted on the office.

Meanwhile, the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol will be on a five-day lockdown after eight employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The eight employees are now on home quarantine. —KBK, GMA News
