4-month-old baby among new COVID-19 cases in Batangas City

A four-month-old baby was among the 44 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Batangas City.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert” on Wednesday, the baby was exposed to a COVID-19 patient.

Also included in the new cases were four inmates at the Batangas City Police Station.

The station was placed under lockdown on September 2 due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

Authorities are currently conducting contact tracing to prevent the further spread of the virus.

As of Tuesday, Batangas City recorded a total of 867 confirmed infections of COVID-19 including 359 active cases, 30 deaths, and 478 recoveries.—AOL, GMA News
