The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao government on Tuesday said it provided over P425,000 worth of hospital assistance to the victims of the twin explosions in Jolo, Sulu last August 24.

In a statement, the BARMM government said through its “Ayudang Medical mula sa Bangsamoro Government” or “AMBAG,” 31 admitted patients at the Sulu Provincial Hospital fully covered from their injuries.

BARMM cabinet secretary and AMBAG program head Mohd Asnin Pendatun said that Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim wanted to ensure that the victims will be discharged from the hospital without paying any bills.

All of the 31 patients have already recovered and been discharged by the hospital.

Pendatun said the hospitalization assistance was on top of the cash assistance provided by the Ministry of Interior and Local Government and the Ministry of Social Services and Development last August 28.
