6 cops among new cases of COVID-19 in Olongapo

Six police officers were among the 11 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Olongapo City.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert” on Monday, the policemen had close contacts with a COVID-19 patient.

They are currently under isolation while contact tracing is ongoing.

So far, the city has recorded a total of 522 COVID-19 cases with 261 recoveries and 21 deaths.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 reached 307,288 on Monday, including 252,665 recoveries and 5,381 fatalities. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/RSJ, GMA News
