DFA consular office in Butuan closed for disinfection

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced that its consular office in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte will be closed on Wed., Sept. 30, for disinfection.

The temporary closure will also allow for the implementation of other preventive measures against COVID-19, the DFA said in a statement.

Applicants with confirmed appointments on Sept. 30 must book another appointment, on any weekday from October 1 to 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The DFA said they can email butuan.rco@dfa.gov.ph and submit the following information: name, date of birth, original appointment date and time, and preferred date and time of new appointment.

Those who need emergency or urgent consular services may also email the same address.

The said office will re-open on October 1. —KG, GMA News
