Iligan City records 3 additional COVID-19 cases

Iligan City has reported three new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), raising its total infection to 707.

According to a report on GMA News’ “24 Oras News Alert” on Wednesday, the local government is still conducting contact tracing.

So far, Iligan has recorded 134 active cases, 533 recoveries and 40 deaths.

It will be under general community quarantine starting October 1.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 reached 309,303 on Tuesday with 5,448 deaths and 252,930 recoveries. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/RSJ, GMA News
