Siblings drown in Bulacan river amid Pepito onslaught

A pair of siblings aged 12-years-old and 10-years-old drowned in a river in Santa Maria, Bulacan during the onslaught of Typhoon Pepito, according to Jonathan Andal’s report on “24 Oras Weekend.”

Joralyn Terez, the children’s mother, said siblings Princess, 12 and Justin, 10 and their cousins got together to swim in the river while she was at work.

“Itong panganay ko, natawagan ‘yung kapatid niya kaya sumunod doon sa ilog. Tapos nakita niya siguro nalulunod na ‘yung kapatid niya, eh, gusto niya sagipin. Hindi naman siya marunong lumangoy,” Terez said.
