Quezon governor asks DOH for help in replenishing flu vaccine supply

By VIRGIL LOPEZ,GMA News

Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez on Thursday asked the Department of Health (DOH) and other concerned agencies to help the province replenish its supply of flu vaccines.

At the Laging Handa briefing, Suarez said the provincial government has funds to buy the flu vaccines “but we are having [a] problem with [the] availability.”

Aside from the pandemic, Quezon is also dealing with the aftermath of Typhoon Quinta.

Suarez said the estimated damage to agriculture and infrastructure was P488 million.

“Iyong limang bayan ko ay ubos lahat ang saging kaya I would expect the price of banana to go up,” he said.

-NB, GMA News
