Baguio City to implement stricter measures for Benguet tourists

Baguio City will implement stricter measures for tourists hailing from other municipalities in Benguet province.

According to a report on "24 Oras," Benguet tourists will have to register online in the official website of Baguio City, just like those coming from other provinces.

They also have to present a negative result from an antigen test valid for 72 hours or undergo an antigen test at the border.

The new protocols will take effect on Saturday, November 21, and will last for two weeks.

This is in light of the increasing number of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the nearby municipalities.
