Cagayan gov wants Tuguegarao reverted to MECQ due to increase in COVID-19 cases

Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba has recommended that Tuguegarao City be placed back under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases there.

A report on Unang Balita on Tuesday said the increase happened after Cagayan was hit by a typhoon.

Citing Mamba, the report said the increase was due to local transmission, or transmission among persons living in the same house.

Mamba said those who are on home quarantine should be transferred to isolation facilities. --KBK, GMA News
