Jealousy pushes man to stab wife to death in Zamboanga del Sur

A man has stabbed his wife to death due to jealousy and financial issues in Zamboanga Del Sur.

According to Vonne Aquino's report on "Saksi", the killing happened in Mahayag town.

Suspect Eduardo Remitar had reportedly asked for forgiveness but fled. He was eventually arrested.

The victim suffered two stab wounds on her chest.

Investigation showed that Remitar was possibly drunk when the stabbing happened as he had gone to a party.

He suspected that his wife had another relationship.

Remitar said he asked money from the victim to pay for farm expenses as she had his ATM card.
