Laoag City reverts to GCQ due to increase in COVID-19 cases

Laoag City in Ilocos Norte was once again placed under general community quarantine due to a significant increase in COVID-19 cases, according to an Unang Balita report on Tuesday.

Barangay San Lorenzo and Caaoacan, as well as several sitios, are placed under "total lockdown."

Based on latest local government data, Laoag City has 421 COVID-19 cases, of which 124 are active. It also recorded 297 recoveries. —KBK, GMA News
