Cotabato experiences flooding; landslides cut Quezon roads

Several areas in President Roxas, Cotabato experienced flooding due to continuous rain, according to Ivan Mayrina’s report on “24 Oras Weekend.”

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said two barangays were severely affected after rivers in the area burst their banks, flooding several homes.

The floodwaters receded after an hour.

There were no reported injuries or destroyed establishments.

Heavy rain also prevailed over the Makilala-Kidapawan Highway due to localized thunderstorms.

Quezon 's Infanta town experienced several landslides on Friday, with debris blocking several roads.

These roads are now passable as the obstructions had been cleared.
