CAFGU member hurt in grenade blast in Maguindanao

A member of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) got wounded in a grenade explosion in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao on Saturday.

A Super Radyo dzBB report quoted the local police as identifying the victim as Joey Reyes, who sustained a shrapnel wound on his arm during the blast that happened at the Lining Detachment of the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the Philippine Army at Barangay Lapu-Lapu, around 1:40 p.m.

Authorities have yet to identify a suspect in the incident.

The victim is being treated at the Integrated Provincial Health Office in Maguindanao. -MDM, GMA News
