Ex-member of CAFGU auxiliaries shot dead in Negros Oriental—police

A former member of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Units (CAFGU) Active Auxiliaries was shot dead in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental on Sunday, according to police.

Initial report from Negros Oriental Police showed 45-year old Lander Garde of Barangay Trinidad was walking towards his neighbor’s house when four unidentified men wearing black jacket and cap shot him several times.

The armed men immediately fled going to the mountainous area of the place.

Garde was rushed to Guihulngan City Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Personnel of Police Community Precinct 1 Trinidad recovered from the crime scene 14 pieces of fired cartridges of caliber .45 and a piece of fired cartridge of caliber 9mm.—AOL, GMA News
