The Philippine National Police (PNP) said two suspected members of the New People’s Army were killed in a clash with its troops in Santa Catalina, Negros Oriental on Monday.

PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas said the encounter happened between members of the PNP Special Action Force Commando Course Class 105-2019, who were on a test mission, and an undetermined number of rebels.
