British national dies in Lapu-Lapu City fire

A British man died after a fire struck his house in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu.

The victim's wife was out with their dogs for a walk when she heard from her neighbor that their house was on fire, according to a report by Darlene Cay on State of the Nation on Tuesday.

She immediately returned to their home where she found her husband's corpse covered in blankets.

Investigators said the blaze began at the living room of the residence but the cause of fire is still unknown. —Consuelo Marquez/BAP/KG, GMA News
