Fire hits lumber warehouse in San Mateo, Rizal

A fire of still undetermined origin hit a lumber warehouse in the province of Rizal early Saturday morning.

Super Radyo dzBB reported that the fire broke out at a warehouse in Barangay Maly, San Mateo. 

An initial information from the San Mateo Fire Station indicated that the fire has reached the third alarm as firefighters continued to control the blaze.

In an update report by Luisito Santos at past 8 a.m., the fire has already reached the 4th alarm.

Residents in nearby area have begun fleeing their homes as strong winds continue to fan the blaze, the report added.
