Woman fakes her kidnapping to be with her boyfriend

A woman in Baguio City faked her kidnapping to be with her lover, according to a report on "24 Oras Weekend."

Last week, Aprilyn Agoyos, 30, and her two friends were on their way home when the former was abducted by individuals aboard a black van.

Agoyos' friends immediately reported the incident to authorities.

However, Baguio police investigators discovered that Agoyos had a role in her kidnapping.

Agoyos and her boyfriend, who was a former convict, decided to fake the kidnapping so that they could be together.

Police said Agoyos' parents were against their relationship. Agoyos' boyfriend, who was recently freed, was imprisoned for possession of drugs.

"Siguro naisip nila na Romeo and Juliet sila na binabawalan," Baguio Police chief Police Colonel Allen Co said.
