Cops seize P5M worth of shabu, arrest suspect in Ilocos Norte

Authorities have seized P5 million worth of suspected shabu, and nabbed a suspect in a police operation in Laoag City, Ilocos Sur.

Quoting the police, "Unang Balita" on Friday identified the suspect as Ronald Melchor.

Police said the suspect is from the National Capital Region, and maintains his illegal drug operation in northern Luzon regions.

But the suspect denied the allegations, and insisted that he was unaware that the bag he was requested to carry contained illegal drugs.
