Magnitude 5.3 quake hits sea off Davao Occidental

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake hit Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental early Wednesday morning, PHIVOLCS reported.

The quake, which occurred at 4:26 a.m., was tectonic in origin with a depth of 94 kilometers.

The agency also reported that there were no damages resulting to the quake but aftershocks are expected to occur. -- BAP, GMA News
