The Cebu City government has allowed people who have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 to avail of dine-in and personal care services.

Interviewed on Super Radyo dzBB on Friday, acting Mayor Michael Rama said people who received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine will have access to these services.

“In-emphasize namin, 'yung al fresco 50% (capacity), tsaka yung dine-in 10%, basta provided whoever will be vaccinated,” he said.

(We emphasized that 50% capacity is allowed for al fresco and 10% for dine-in, provided the customers have already been vaccinated.)

In Executive Order 138 signed Thursday, Rama ordered that food preparation establishments like kiosks, commissaries, restaurants, and eateries are allowed to operate outdoor dine-in services at 50%.

For indoor dine-in service, 10% capacity is allowed.

Personal care services limited to beauty salons, barbershops, beauty parlors, and nail spas are allowed to operate at 30% capacity.

Rama said people who have not been vaccinated can still enter malls and avail of other services.

With a target of 700,000 recipients, Rama said around 300,000 residents have already received the first and second dose of the vaccine.

If the requested supply of COVID-19 vaccine will arrive by November, Rama said the city is expecting to reach the target vaccination number by December. —KBK, GMA News
