P1 million worth of suspected shabu seized in Bohol; live-in-partners nabbed

Police on Saturday seized more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

According to Jaimie Santos’ report on “24 Oras Weekend,” authorities also arrested live-in-partners Cyril Pamaong and Quaresma Peñarada during the operation.

The suspects declined to comment.

The couple will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Meanwhile, a nurse was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Surigao City.

Mark Anthony Patino was allegedly a high-value drug personality.

Authorities retrieved around P2,000 worth of suspected shabu and marked money.

Complaints have been filed against Patina, who has yet to comment. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
