Another alleged victim of Cebu coordinator shares experience

After the story of a couple who was scammed on their wedding day went viral on social media, another alleged victim of the same wedding coordinator gained the courage to share her story.

According to Chino Gaston's report on "24 Oras," the victim, Junelyn Canoy, had previously filed a complaint against Naser Fuentes.

Canoy said Fuentes stole the money they collected from their money dance in 2019 as well as the payment for their lechon in the reception.

Fuentes has yet to issue a statement on this.

On Wednesday, Arniel Satingasin and Cherry Pie were greeted with no food and a closed reception venue after their wedding in Cebu.

Fuentes could not be located, along with the P65,000 budget for the reception and other suppliers.

In dismay, Cherry Pie sat down on the sidewalk in her wedding dress and broke down in tears.

The GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak team later found the coordinator.

“One thing is for sure, we’ll settle the case. We’ll just get back to you ha. Thank you,” Fuentes said. —Joahna Lei Casilao/JST, GMA News
