What to expect at Rodrigo Duterte’s inauguration as 16th President

On Thursday, June 30, President-elect Rodrigo Duterte will take his oath as the 16th Chief of Executive of the Philippines.

During his campaign, Duterte promised to do away with lavish inauguration rites that will inconvenience Filipinos with cost and heavy traffic.

His camp has announced that Duterte's inauguration would be held in the confines of Malacanang instead of at the Quirino Grandstand.

Only more than 600 guests have been invited to the Palace's Rizal Hall to witness Duterte take oath before Supreme Court Associate Justice Bienvenido Reyes.

Here's a flowchart on what to expect when longtime Davao City mayor takes on the reins of the nation.
