The Supreme Court has affirmed its earlier ruling that upheld the constitutionality of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between the Philippines and the United States.

On Wednesday, Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr. assured US Secretary of State John Kerry that the Duterte administration would implement the pact ironed out during the term of former President Benigno Aquino III.
