Comelec delivers quicker results, higher turnout in election year

The May 2016 national and local elections was deemed successful after setting "new records" on metrics, including fast transmission of results, higher voter turnout, and generally peaceful polls. It also set milestones, with initiatives aimed at making the voting process easier for the people.
