Roast Chicken Soup
Ingredients: 3 medium carrots 1.4 liter chicken stock 300g roast chicken 200g green peas 3 tbsp. evaporated milk 1 lemon or kalamansi Garlic, thinly sliced Onions, chopped Cooking oil Directions: Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Then, sauté the onions and carrots with the shredded roast chicken. In a food processor, blend half of the mixture with green peas until smooth. Put the blended mixture back in the pan and stir for five minutes. Then, add the evaporated milk, garlic, and lemon juice. Stir well and voilà! The soup is ready to be served. Tasty Chicken Noodles
Ingredients: 2 tsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. fish sauce or soy sauce 1 tbsp. sugar 2 blocks medium egg noodles 1 tbsp. oil 1 large red pepper, chopped 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 200g leftover roast chicken, shredded ½ tsp chili powder 100g frozen peas Directions: In a heated pan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, fish sauce and 8 tbsp. water. In another pan, sauté the garlic, bell pepper, roasted chicken, spices, and green peas. Cook the egg noodles in a casserole and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and serve.
