NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC’S
“GREAT MIGRATIONS: Behind the Scenes”
ON GMA NEWS TV, JUNE 23, SUNDAY, 10 PM

Great Migrations is one of the biggest film projects ever undertaken by National Geographic Television. This Sunday night, discover the toughest challenges in filming this stunning four-part, blue-chip wildlife series as GMA News TV airs the “Behind the Scenes” special of Great Migrations.
In 2007, National Geographic crews dispersed all over the planet to film the most amazing and unique animal migration stories ever told. Over three years, the crew spent 350 hours on trees, 500 hours in blinds and 400 hours underwater. This behind-the-scenes story takes you to the depths of the sea and the far corners of the earth as you experience the dangers, difficulties and adventures of a National Geographic cameraman – from falling into the water while trying to clip a camera on a shark’s fin, to getting caught in the midst of a huge dust storm, to patiently waiting for weeks to get the perfect shot of a leopard hunting.
Narrated by Kara David and dubbed in Filipino, “Great Migrations: Behind the Scenes” airs on Sunday, June 23 at 10PM on GMA News TV Channel 11.
