DFA welcomes 248 Pinoy seafarers repatriated from US

Personnel from the Department of Foreign Affairs welcomed on Friday morning the latest batch of repatriates consisting 248 Filipino seafarers stranded in the US due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a tweet, the DFA said the 248 Pinoy sailors were crew members of the virus-stricken MSC Divina.

Also, it said that the repatriates arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at 6 a.m. on a chartered flight from Miami.
