Filipino woman killed in San Francisco after blast at husband's drug lab

A 51-year-old Filipino woman died after an explosion at the illegal drug laboratory of her husband in San Francisco, California.

According to a report on "State of the Nation", Rita Evelyn Lopez was not able to come out of their home which also burned after the blast.

Lopez was said to have been paralyzed after suffering a stroke.

Her American husband Baron Price escaped the explosion and the fire.

He is facing charges including involuntary manslaughter in connection with Lopez's death. Price did not give any statement.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation. —NB, GMA Integrated News
